Financial Protection for International Customers
With making payment to our Trust Account plus the TTA guarantee, if you are a customer from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the Netherlands or anywhere else in the world, you will have exactly the same financial protection as customers booking in the UK.
AIR TRAVEL ORGANISER'S LICENCE (ATOL NO. T10190)
Specialist Africa Ltd is licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and holds ATOL No. T10190.
ATOL protects customers from losing their money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on all tour operators and travel organisers it licenses, and requires them to take part in a financial guarantee scheme managed by the Air Travel Trust (ATT) which provides the funds to protect customers should a firm fail.
Should a tour operator go out of business, the CAA will ensure customers do not lose the money they paid over. If abroad, the CAA will arrange for customers to finish their holiday and fly home.
International flights included in our holidays are supplied by flight consolidators and are protected by their ATOL licenses and bonds.
The price of our air holiday packages includes the amount of £2.50 per person as part of the ATOL Protection Contribution (APC) paid to the CAA. This charge is included in our advertised prices.
ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services on this website. Safaris, holidays, tours and treks that start and end in your destination country (and exclude international flights) are financially protected through our membership of TTA (see above). If you are unsure please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking.
