Lemala Tarangire Camp
Seasonal Safari Camp from June to October
Lemala Tarangire is a stylish traditional seasonal camp which offers an authentic and intimate safari experience. Set in a wonderful location near the Kuro Ranger Post deep inside the stunning Tarangire National Park the camp is open between June and October to take advantage of the seasonal game movement from the surrounding areas into Tarangire National Park.
The camp is located close to the Tarangire River and Silale swamp which attract vast number of elephant and buffalo herds together with big cats and over 500 species of birds. Ample game viewing opportunities are on offer from dawn to dusk. Wildlife also wanders past the camp all day during the dry season heading towards the river beds or the swamps. The camp offers convenient access to all corners of the park so guests can start early and reach the key areas before others arrive, disappear into quieter areas as the traffic increases and have significantly more time for quality game viewing.
Each spacious tent is outfitted with a large single or king-size beds with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hr solar lighting, and en-suite bathrooms with a dressing area, flush toilet and a great safari shower.
The mess tent is beautifully furnished in a contemporary style with comfortable sofas, lamps, book and corner cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening, guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before retiring for dinner under chandeliers hosted by the camp manager. House alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at meal times.
Guests are also able to join guided nature walks from the camp. |
