Lemala Mara CampLemala Mara Camp is an ideal base to follow the great migration during the months of Junt until October. Set in a glorious location overlooking the Mara River and within easy access to Tabora B,
Bologonja, Wogakuria and Lamai. Luxurious accommodation, is set overlooking the Mara River in a grove of large Euclea trees. The camp offers eight spacious and luxurious tents with kingsize beds, or twin configuration and one family tent which can accommodate up to five people. Each spacious tent is very comfortable with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hr solar lighting, and en-suite bathrooms with a dressing area, flush toilet and a great safari shower. The mess tent is beautifully furnished in contemporary style with comfortable sofas, lamps, book and corner cabinets, chests and rugs. In the evening, guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before retiring for dinner under chandeliers hosted by the camp manager. House alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included at meal time. At the camp, guests will be amongst the vast herds of wildebeest and zebra as they journey north to the Masai Mara. Two of the largest crossing points on the river are a stone's throw away from the camp and it will be possible for guests to observe the exciting crossings from the comfort of the camp. Excellent naturalists/guides based at the camp posess exceptional local knowledge, enabling them to take guests to where the action is in open game viewing vehicles, on and off of the road, and away from the crowds. More adventureress guests may want to participate in a nature walk, enabling them to get up close to the animals on foot. These nature walks are lead by our naturalist who will enterperate the signs of the fauna and flora giving guests a very interesting insite into the ways of the wild. |
