Lemala Ngorongoro Camp

The Lemala Camp at Ngorongoro Crater is found in a beautiful secluded location on the rim of the crater close to the quiet Lemala entry route, the camp offers an outstanding experience and even has heated tents! The Lemala entry roue is a less frequently used route into the Crater ensuring that you may only meet up with a handful of vehicles. Game viewing from the camp can start as early as 6:30am and guests are able to enjoy a long, quiet game drive. The scenery is stunning and the wildlife abundant while descending into the Crater.

Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate camp overlooking an ancient acacia forest, it offers nine luxury accommodation under canvas in large spacious tents with wooden flooring and rugs. Each tent has a gas heater for warmth and comfort, two large single beds or a king size double bed with thick
duvets, a private bathroom with a dressing area, flush toilet, large bucket shower and running water. There are 
 
After a day of game viewing guests can meet by the cosy fireside under the stars to interact with the naturalist and on occasion local traditional Masai who live nearby. Laundry and house beverages (wine, beer, spirits, soda, water, tea and coffee) are included. 

Optional private lunch inside the crater, breakfast with the Masai and nature walks can be arranged with advance notice. Excursions to Empakai crater and Ol Donyo Lengai active volacano are also possible from Lemala Ngorongoro.

The camp opens at the beginning of June until the end of March.
