Coffee Plantation Lodge in Arusha, TanzaniaLocated in the heart of a beautiful natural environment, Moivaro Lodge is only a short 7 km drive from the hustle and bustle of Arusha town. A perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long flight or busy safari, Moivaro Lodge is set within 40 acres of coffee plantations and flower-filled gardens. The views of Mount Meru are exceptional from the lodge. Colourful birds are numerous.
Staff are attentive and aim to look after guests in a friendly and efficient manner in peaceful surroundings. A good-sized swimming pool nestles in the midst of tropical trees and coffee plants and a bar/lounge with veranda provides a convivial place to read, enjoy the views or chat to other guests.
All bedrooms are en-suite and built in spacious thatched brick cottages, each discretely set in tropical gardens with their own private verandas. Bedrooms are a decent size with a small lounge area, fire place, desk, mosquito nets and a ceiling fan. En-suite bathrooms are equipped with a bath and separate shower.
Moivaro lodge enjoys 24-hour internet service and massage services are available. The restaurant serves a mix of delicious African and Continental dishes using home grown vegetables.

Responsible Tour Operating - Moivaro School and Nursery Project Moivaro Lodge has been providing financial support to a primary school in Moivaro village since 2003. 1040 students currently attend the school. A newly renovated Nursery School will also soon open its doors to young learners in 2008 as a result of support from the Lodge.
