Olakira Camp

Olakira Camp moves its location within the Serengeti depending on the time of year. Located in Ndutu from Dec to March and then moves to Bologonja from June – December. The camp offers the perfect balance between an authentic, intimate bush camp and the luxuries of space and comfort.

Camp layout and staff numbers allow for guests’ experience to be unique and tailor made. An attentative and professional team who are very personable and helpful create a smooth running environment which is friendly and relaxed.

8 luxurious tents have ensuite bathrooms  with traditional bucket shower and flushing toilet. The private verandah offers the tranquillity of the bush to unwind between game drives. All tents have bottled water, generator and solar back for lighting, camp information folder, whistle (incase of emergency), torch, mosquito repellent, insect spray and tissues. 
 
The central camp area consists of a dining room, comfortable lounge area with games and books,
public toilet and a fire circle area to enjoy a drink post or pre dinner with the “squirrel band” playing occasionally. Outstanding food which is prepared by a highly talented team of Tanzanian Chefs.

Half or full-day game drives are included and after a day of intense game drives, our camp staff invite you to a relaxing drink around the open fireplace to chat with the other guests about your adventures. End your day by enjoying a specially prepared three course meal that will perfectly round off your Olakira experience.
