Kiba Point

Set on the banks of the mighty Rufiji River, Kiba Point makes a fabulous base for a private Selous safari with family or friends, available on a totally exclusive basis only, a stay includes all activities: game drives, walking safaris, birding, boating and fishing trips.

Four spacious, airy cottages with two double and two twins , built with stone and thatch, are raised up on platforms above the river line. Interiors are cool and elegant; huge beds with softly draped mosquito nets, planters chairs and sun-beds for chilling out. The bathrooms are spacious and open, with hot/cold running water, flush toilets, and an indoor and outdoor shower.

There are plunge pools for every room and a large swimming pool at the main mess. The mess/dining area spoils you with plump sofas, a library of books, your own bar, and lots of space to make your own. The food is fantastic, and the drinks are always ice-cold. 

All activities at Kiba Point are in private vehicles and include early morning game drives, walking, boating, fishing, and fly-camping.
