Rufiji River Camp

Situated in the heart of the reserve, on the banks of the Rufiji river where many and different species of animals gather, the Rufiji River Camp makes a perfect destination for your Selous Safari. A constant flow of animals come to the river to drink including sometimes hundreds of hippos and groups of crocodiles who laze in the sun on the riverbank.
 
At the centre of camp is a restaurant, bar and library, all with a view of the river and the sunset.
All of the camp structures are designed to give the highest level of comfort. The camp is environmentally friendly, electricity and hot water are powered by solar panels, while UHV-filtered drinking water is available throughout camp. A covered swimming pool gives a place to relax and cool down between game activities. 

Twenty tents are equipped with private bathroom and a veranda facing the river for relaxation and sunset views.
