Bawe Tropical Island

The tasteful interiors are elegantly decorated and contain ensuite bathrooms, with double basin, 2 al fresco showers and bathtub. Large private wooden verandas overlook the ocean.

Day trips from Bawe are possible to Stone Town and the sister island - Prison Island, a contemporary  island resort for nature lovers, with a tortoise sanctuary for the Giant Aldabra Tortoises and artfully restored 19th century colonial buildings.
