Chole Bay

Beautiful East Coast Bay

Located on the east coast of Mafia Island, Chole Bay is the place to stay on the island if you seek to spend your time snorkelling, diving and exploring the nearby islands. The bay is also the most outstanding dive site in the Mafia archipelago. 

It is a vast circular bay where the depth extends from 5 to 27 metres. The continuous replacement of waters due to the tide offers an excellent environment. Safe dives are possible throughout the whole year in this bay, which is like a natural harbour.
