Morogoro

Located in the agricultural heartland of Tanzania, Morogoro is a farming town in the southern Tanzania highlands. Tobacco is grown in the surrounding region and transported from the town. Morogoro is also a centre for missionary work in Tanzania and is home to various missions whose schools and hospitals are a central feature to the town.

Morogoro, at the base of the Uluguru Mountains, makes a good base for hiking trips within the Uluguru National Park.
