On the Path of the Migration

With many resident animals due to a permanent supply of water, Lobo is a popular destination in the Serengeti throughout the year. It is at its very best though when the herds of the great migration pass through between July and November, moving north to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, and then back south to the Short Grass Plains of the Serengeti in November and December.

Lobo Lodge is the original place to stay in the Lobo area, perched dramatically on an outcrop with commanding views of the surrounding wilderness.
