Western Corridor

Western Corridor Travel Guide

Safari in Western Serengeti

During the winter months of June and July the Western Corridor comes to life as the migration rolls in on its annual visit. Bisected by a road which runs through the Serengeti to reach the shores of Lake Victoria, the Western Corridor offers great opportunities to see wildebeest and zebra daringly trying to cross the Grumeti River.

Permanent pools of water in the Grumeti and Mbalageti ensure a large resident population of animals throughout the year. Cheetahs, lions, hyenas and leopards are plentiful.
